Whirley Pop Popcorn

We love popcorn. I even have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to it. However, many prepackaged microwave popcorn's contain dairy. We have an air popper (an old school looking one from my mother), which is pretty fantastic. When we do air pop, we like to spray it with Crisco Butter Spray and salt it with popcorn salt. But sometimes you just get those cravings for movie theatre style popcorn (without all the extra fat of course). Enter, Whirley Pop. Produced by Wabash Valley Farms, this stove top popper is a miracle maker. However, there are two "secret" ingredients to making truly theatre quality homemade popcorn.

Ingredients
3/4 cup popcorn kernels
1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
1 heaping tsp, Flavacol

Directions
Place all ingredients in Whirley Pop, turn handle for approximately 3 minutes until pops are about 1 to 2 seconds apart.

Remove from heat and dump into large popcorn bowl.

ENJOY!

*Special Note: This contraption is so wonderfully fantastic, I even made my first ever animated gif for it. :)
